I've been shooting the 18" 6.5 CM as well and it's a very accurate rifle. Less than MOA using a generic load. Really nice for exactly what JPro listed. The Born and Raised has additions like stippling, different grip, cerakote, and a longer 24" barrel.....at a weight increase of 1.2 lbs for an unscoped weight of 8 lbs vs 6.8 lbs on the 18" version.....and a OAL increase of 6".
None of the additions aside from the barrel length/weight make a difference to me.
My take on it is if you are planning on using a suppressor then the original model is the best fit. If using it un-suppressed, then the 24" version would be a better fit.
