Hey folks. I'm looking really hard at this gun. Does anybody have any real world experience with it, or knowledge of it. Basically, looking at a 350-400 yard MOA gun. Thanks Tom

I have the standard 18” model in 6.5CM and have been rather pleased. It wears an extra 6.5” of effective barrel length in the form of a suppressor. No load development done, but it shoots an existing 143 ELDX load sub-MOA. The cheap 129gr Interlock factory loads group around MOA and shoot to a similar POI at 100yds. I’ve shot mine a bit at 300/400yds and it doesn’t disappoint. Intended use was for an out-of-the-box hunting rifle that was all-weather, light, accurate, and adjustable for different shooters. I’d buy another.

I've been shooting the 18" 6.5 CM as well and it's a very accurate rifle. Less than MOA using a generic load. Really nice for exactly what JPro listed. The Born and Raised has additions like stippling, different grip, cerakote, and a longer 24" barrel.....at a weight increase of 1.2 lbs for an unscoped weight of 8 lbs vs 6.8 lbs on the 18" version.....and a OAL increase of 6".

None of the additions aside from the barrel length/weight make a difference to me.

My take on it is if you are planning on using a suppressor then the original model is the best fit. If using it un-suppressed, then the 24" version would be a better fit.

Meeting in the middle (or close to it), there are some aftermarket carbon fiber barrels in various calibers:
