We enjoyed it. Good plot to the movie. I’ve tried to ignore the Winchester 94 Crossbolt safety at the end but I can get it out of my head. Other than that good to go with me.

Anyone seen this movie? Is it worth watching? Yes. I liked it a lot, despite the modern Winchester 94 he used in it, and the brass framed Colt SAA. Their firearms consultant should have been fired.

Someday someone may kill you with your own gun, but they should have to beat you to death with it because it is empty.

I will say that production companys hire most all the guns used on a set. Propmasters and armorers sometimes go out looking for specific firearms. There are folks who specialize in renting firearms to production companies. Some companies do not have the budgets to get some of the better guns. I have been approached several times by propmasters or FX people wanting to rent some of my guns.
No damn way would I rent to them. I’ve been on sets and have seen how they are treated. On some of the higher quality sets, they will make "rubber ducks"as they are called. A fake thats looks like the real thing. And switch them out when they need to be fired. Naturally this is for several reasons. Mostly for safety ( right Alec), preservation of the real gun, and most of all the actors bitchin’ that the real gun is just too heavy!!!!
