I have a Remington 600 in a 350 magnum with a laminated stock. When I bought the laminate wood was a bright white and brown. Since then the wood finish has turned darker with more of a yellowish finish. Has this happened to others that had this laminated stock? The 660 model seem to retain the white and brown color better

It’s possible the RK-W gloss finish has yellowed over time, especially showing on the lighter colored section of the laminate. I know the finish on my early BDL’s has turned the white line spacers a Golden Yellow color.

awhile back I saw a 600 laminated stock for sale and the seller said it was brand new. But it was as yellow as the ones in sqweelers photos, and he wanted a lot for it.

Curious if I sanded it down and refinished it if it would bring the original colors back.

It might, but I wouldn't. Seriously - wouldn't. Unless you don't care a thing about its collector value.

Agreed! Leave the stock finish "As is"!
