I have a Canon Pixma G6020 tank printer. I haven't been able to find the right color settings. Here's an example. The 1st photo is the true color which I see on my monitor and photo editor. The 2d is what prints. The manual is written in computerese which I don't speak. Any suggestions as to where I need to look to correct the colors?

Meebe some of the jets are partially clogged. Has the printer been used often or does it sit, and are all the color tanks full?

OEM ink. I did a complete cleaning and flush a week or so ago. The nozzle check is ok.

Do a reset and print a test page.

So, is the second image a scan of an actual image printout?

It’s an inkjet and you’ve got plugged ink jets. I finally gave up on mine and went to a lazer printer. I rarely used the color printing anyway. Good luck. You can go through the cleaning routine but if it’s got dried ink it probably won’t work. At least it didn’t for me.

I used a nozzle cleaner and totally hosed it out, then did a flush which ran a bucket of ink through it. A nozzle check shows all colors printing normally. It appears to be some setting that I'm missing.

Yes, it's a scan of a print. The 1st one is what's on the monitor. For some reason, it likes green.

I'd guess that somewhere in your Canon software there's a setting of some kind that's messed up. I use an Epson (swore off HP some time back) so I can't suggest what it might be. The only other suggestion I could make is to try printing on some other kind of paper.

Good luck with it.

I found that it will print normally from my phone but not from either of our Win 10 computers. That eliminates the printer as the problem anyway.

I didn't ask how to chose a new computer. I asked how to adjust the color hue when printing. There has to be a setting somewhere. This problem just popped up recently and I have no idea what caused it.

If it prints correctly from your phone (same image, I assume) but not from the computer, then it's a Windows/driver issue. (As if I'm surprised.)

Go to the Canon Support website and check for a new driver. Update, then reboot.

google "ICC Profile Calibration".

"Monitors use additive RGB color, while printing uses subtractive CMYK pigments. Each method is a different way of reproducing color"

"ICC profiles provide a way to ensure consistent color across all your devices".

I have used ICC profiles to correct monitor to print differences.
I'm still using a HP Photosmart 8750 Large-Format Professional Photo Printer.
