A Nikon ProStaff 3-9X40 is the best $150 scope I've ever owned. I bought it to go on a FAL. I expected it too get shook apart but it never did. Very clear glass for a budget priced scope.
I've paid more for a scope and gotten less.

Weaver Grand slams are excellent Japanese made scopes, glass and turret repeatable are still better than most of the new China scopes.

All the Japan/LOW made Weavers… Stopped reading right here. Still have four of these in different configurations. Great damn scopes.

All elite 4200/4500 low made……same w it’s Weavers…..darn shame you can’t buy them anymore. Both were solid choices and so durable……..never had one fail.
