Nice little O/U. Made by Sabatti in Italy. If it fits and the price fits, I'd snap it up if I were in the market.

$1500 $2000 tops for a spotless example.

The Remington 1100 Premier 28 gauge is a very nice little gun. Haven’t owned one, but have shot a couple and liked them.

Except for the obvious…having to hunt around for the empties that are like gold these days!

I think the OP was looking for info on the short-lived Remington Premier O/U.

You are correct 28 gauge over and under case colored receiver, locking hard case like 10 choke tubes

Not sure the price or what you want to use it for but Betetta or Browming is a better gun for Probly a tiny bit more imo. These are not what I call a “real” Remington.
You guys seem pretty excited over the choke tubes, you can always buy more of them.

I have seen and handled these and was not impressed

Well I beg to differ with you, Barettas have never impressed me just don’t seem to fit me right. Browning makes some good shotguns I bought the above best handling shotgun I have ever owned

Passport didn’t say your purchase was not the best handling for you.

He was comparing quality vs quality. And while it is a hard truth, Remington has yet to make a quality O/U that compares to the other two.

Remington only imported them for a short time. The 28 is built on a 20 gauge frame, it is heavier than a 28 O/U should be. They did not sell well. Remington quit importing them. Remington did not have parts before they went bankrupt. Where are you going to get parts now? What passport said.
