Ok guys, I have a new 629 4” on order.

What’s your favorite holster for your N Frame? Pics are appreciated!

I’m thinking something along the lines of the Lawrence 120 or Milt Sparks 200.

Thanks!

Bianchi 5BHL. Size it for 4".

Bianchi cyclone is one of my favorites for my K&N frames

Rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

I have a Kramer horsehide pancake that my 5” 625 rides in. It’s a great holster, very secure but no straps or thumb break just very well molded. My other N frames ride in various Bianchi flap or Outdoorsman holsters and I also have a Galco that is nice. Couple Diamond D chest rigs around too.

Too many to choose from. There must be a-hundred different types. From $20.00 to $250.00 maybe more. Take you new revolver to a sportsman's warehouse or some other box store and try as many as you can. It's a personal thing, no one can choose for you. (Important)
If you choose to hip carry, make sure to buy a top quality stiff/double thick belt. A quality belt will cost as much as the holster maybe more. But it's worth it.

I’m partial to the Bianchi 5BHL, preferably an older US made model. Also love the long discontinued Bianchi 16L flap holster. These can occasionally be found on EBay.

I’ve used the Simply Rugged Sourdough for a few BlackHawks over the years and their version for automatics for a Glock 20. Good products.

Thanks for the recommendations so far!

I'll add another vote for the SR SD Pancake for outside/wood walking use. It works for concealed as well.

If you were focused on concealed carry, I really like Milt Sparks PMK, though I use it with a 2 3/4" N frame....not a 4".

I am still having Sam Andrews make my leather. I have yet to see better quality or craftsmanship. I have carried my 4" .44 Mag mountain gun in one of his holsters for nearly 20 years now. It's still as good as new.

I'm partial to this Safariland suede lined belt holster for my 4" 28-2. I've got more miles than I can remember with this set-up and agree with the comment about a good belt to put through the loop. It's not new, it's not fancy... well I do like the basket weave look... but it works and has worked for a long time for me. Back when, I remember thinking I paid too much for the holster. I no longer remember the price, but the holster is still here working for me. Whatever you decide on, enjoy!

I have watched a few of his videos, and I really like his work. I plan on getting an order in with him soon.

It is my choice for belt carry.

I use a Diamond D nylon holster for bandolier carry. Used to use an El Paso Saddlery tanker holster .. worked well but I the Diamond D better.
