Hi, I saw this teaser a couple of days ago. Wonder what burn rates they’ll be? Wondered if one of you closer to the industry have any inside info? Is Mule Deer already testing it for an article? New Staball Post

Sourcing from St.Marks rather than Canada/Australia/Belgium/Scandinavia would be a very good thing, considering the present world situation. At least to this simple man.

Agreed. Staball 6.5 is somewhat available, currently compared to some other powders, and generally its price is better than other some popular powders.

I'll be anxious to see the new offerings.

A faster and a slower burn would both be nice.

Hodgdon said in the comments on that Facebook post that Enduron powders were NOT discontinued.

Yeah, I saw that, and when they ask for more information, they didn’t reply with more detail.

Hodgdon said in the comments on that Facebook post that Enduron powders were NOT discontinued. That would be great if true - I hope it turns out to be. And I am excited to see the new StaBALL derivatives they introduce. But for goodness' sake, Hodgdon, how about you meet the demand for H4350 and Varget and Retumbo and H1000 (etc.) before you do any of this? Or perhaps none of these are mutually exclusive - I am ignorant of their supply and manufacturing chains and challenges. Rex

Rex The new StaBall's will come from a different plant than the powders you mentioned. If anything these new powders will help the availability of the old single based powders they most closely resemble as they're used as substitute products.

I sure hope they don't have W 748 on their chopping block to come out with these new "Staball" powder (s).

The Hodgdon Extreme powders are made here in Australia as you all know. ADI have stopped the production of a lot of the pistol powders to concentrate on churning out 2206H, 2208, 2209 and 2213SC (H4895, Varget, H4350 and H4831SC respectively). So it is being made but it's probably sitting in a big warehouse somewhere waiting to be shipped over to the US. Interestingly, a post by ADI said it takes six months to produce a batch of gun powder from start to shipping. I had no idea the process was that long.
But ADI are making the stuff.

Yeah nothing on the Hodgdon website or Facebook page about it. People are asking about it on Facebook and Hodgdon is all crickets.
