~Molɔ̀ːn Labé Skýla~ As Bob Hagel would say"You should not use a rifle that will kill an animal when everything goes right; you should use one that will do the job when everything goes wrong."Good words of wisdom...............

Never said there was an issue , the question was one of "safety" . How far do you back down after your first sighn of pressure wether it's sticky bolt lift or flattened primers . I've been reloading a long time but until the wildcats , one in particular, I've never had need for this info. Thanks , Sage.

I am fortunate to have a range 15 yards from my loading bench. My SOP is load the same 5 shell cases when working up a load. When I see pressure signs or the chronograph shows I am approaching max, I back off and repeat one of the promising looking steps. Once I have find something I like, I take 5 new shell cases and load that load. If the primer pockets don't open up inside of 4-5 loads, I call it good.
