Took a good smack last week
Think.my rig proly totaled.

Was doing insurance stuff online next day and saw a bug zip by.

Skeeter, ant or ?

Did it 3 times, so I said wtf?

Yup, floaters. So called eye place and they got me right in No retina detach.

But said it could still happen a couple days after. So i cant bounce around for a week

Also said if more pop up call and come in ASAP. Said prefeably within 2 days as a detach early is fixable.

Same eye doc my dad used to go to.

I knew not to let it go without a check.

Coworker waited and they saved his vision but it was a long drawn out ordeal.

Quicker is mo betta.

good deal. If you get flashes or pinwheels in your vision, get thee to the ER, post haste, do NOT wait. With detachments the faster, the better. Once it comes off the macula, odds of a decent outcome go way, way down.

Floaters are usually harmless. 7 out of 10 people have floaters.

Am just layin around w a dull weird headache.
Tolerable

Trying to find another vehicle so I can hunt next weekend.

Dunno if mines gonna be fixable or how long to fix.
I hunt w my cuz so can just ride w him.

No biggie.

Been trying to find a decent rig for my kid to drive anyway.

I might say screw it and get a 2018/19 rig and get out of payments.

It's normal as we get older and the vitreous humor contracts and eventually pulls away from the Ora serrata, macula and optic nerve head and dense spots float in front of the retina casting shadows, unless one experiences a sudden heavy shower or lightning type flashes.

Breaks or tears may take years to progress in a detachment, if ever.

They often need to be tacked down by a laser if an edge has liquefied vitreous under it which can progress farther behind and lift the retina from the vascular feeding choroid layer behind it.

Found a lifted old Wrangler TJ all built up.
Decent price and no rust, wasnt wheeled after build.
Sweet ride.

But after my wreck im kinda looking at more modern stuff tbat can crumple in a wreck snd just throw away.

I dont give a damn about saving a vehiclle. I just want fo walk away from most types of crashes.

Used to love my big K5 Blazer and drove CJs forever.
But I am sold on newer and smaller stuff that absorbs shock.

But the TJ is nice. And under 10 grand.
So tempting.

Wish for you a speedy recovery. Got to admit, when I read the thread title. I thought somebody had found Commies in a river.

No, you hoped somebody found commies in a river. Me too. So disappointing.
