You may want to consider a USPS Small Flat Rate box. I think it is around $10 for anything that will fit in it regardless of weight or destination. Free bump and just trying to offer a suggestion.

Boxes won't fit in a small flat rate...
I could re-bag and flatten the original boxes though..then a small would work..

You could save yourself the trouble of repacking and just ship them inside a USPS flat rate padded envelope for $10.60. They can be ordered on usps.com or maybe your local PO may have a few laying around. I ship with these envelopes all the time and haven't had any problems with them.

That's a good idea Dinny. I use flat rate boxes a lot but haven't thought of the padded envelopes.

Your suggestion is under consideration, Dinny.
Will try getting a couple of those envelopes...
Thanks,

I sent a pair of Hornady boxes like these totaling 3 pounds, 4 ounces this week Priority Mail in a small box.
These wouldn't fit in a small USPS flat rate box.
I paid $7.60 (Missouri to Montana).

PIRATE SHIP

And even if they had fit, it still would be $7.60
