As to primer sizes. I have 3 lots of Remington 9½ primers. They all measure smaller in diameter than any other primer I've used. Very noticeable when seating. I just figured they were all that way
Had this same issue with Nosler 22 250 brass. Also, the necks are not chamfered as Nosler claims. It is quality brass, but it definitely ain't 'ready to load' as they claim and charge exorbitant prices for their alleged prep work.

I had the same thing happen only I bought 200 pieces of Norma 22-250 brass and had to use a primer pocket uniformer on every one.......then they were sooooo tight the only primers I could get to go in were Remington 91/2's
I still have to use Norma in one of my rifles because Lapua 22-250 brass is .005" bigger at the base than any other brand and gets stuck in the chamber

Large pistol magnum primers work fine in S&B 7x57R brass for me.

This^^^^^^^^no matter the make of the tool as long as it can be chucked up. Makes life easier in the long run & is a once & done chore.

I do it on pistol brass as well as rifle brass.
