Haynes is a regular[every couple of years] at our nearby 5 day music festival[FloydFest]
Sometimes with GM, sometimes he's there and plays in a pickup band-Buffalo Mountain Jam Band.
The BMJB was put together the year Greg Allman was one of the headliners, Floydfest was the first show that he cancelled due to illness and he never performed live again.
The production team put together a pick-up band of the best artists there to form the 'Jam Band' which is now a staple of the festival.
Sometimes they'll play at 1am or later.
Never miss him/them.

Seen him a couple times with the ABB, always enjoyed his playing more than Trucks.
Got dragged to a Dead show years ago, he opened thank goodness.
