Does anyone have a gunsmith in mind that does quality work installing a Pachmayr Decelerator pad?
I purchased a McMillan Remington 700 KS new takeoff that came with a 1” Limbsaver pad that needs to come off.
This stock and pad are 1/4” longer than all my other 700’s and I want to stay with a 1” pad so the stock will need to be shortened.
I know of two gunsmiths in my area that do great work building guns and stocks but neither do pads anymore.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've used Jim Kobe to install several Decelerator pads for me, reasonable cost and quick turnaround.
