You CLUELESS Woke Melting Snowflakes are a rather Emotional bunch...you "lucky" kchunt. Hint. Congratulations?!?

How could a Brokedick Fhuqktard such as yourself, have even an inkling, given your "means","abilities" and "comprehension"? For even more Oblivious HILARITY,describe the particulars of said piece of fhuqking schit. Don't "forget" to cite projectiles and dangle a pic. Feel free to correlate your 400yd POA/POI "approach". Dare ya'. HINT.

6BR/105 'Max here. Hint.

If I could have ever found a combo that would actually do that with a 7mm Rem mag I'd still have one.

Off the Nosler data with a 160 gr bullet:
63 gr of IMR 4831 = 3008 fps
64 grs of IMR 7828 = 3014 fps
61.5 grs of RL-19 = 3053 fps
63 grs of RL-22 = 3058 fps
70 grs of RL-25 = 3063 fps
72 grs of MagPro = 3072 fps.

As to the OP's question, my father bought a 7mm Mag when they first became available in the early 1960s. My grandfather also shot a 7mm Rem Mag. Both myself and my brother got 7mm Rem Mags when we turned 13. Growing up in CO it was a good caliber for the mule deer, pronghorn and elk hunting we did. It had enough velocity to reach out the distances we shot at and it carried enough energy downrange to take the game we shot at. It worked and I still shoot it to this day.

Yep and Re33 gets over 3000 with a 175-grain bullet, from a 26-inch barrel. I have shot a number of elk with 160 partitions at 3000.

The 7 mag is no different than a host of other cartridges that people argue about. It is a very good cartridge that will do more than most people need in a hunting rifle. I have had a pair of them for a long time. That being said, I prefer to hunt with lighter cartridges now, as I do not need the recoil, or the inefficient use of expensive powder. Every time that I decide that I may sell them, I make the mistake of going back to the range and shooting them.

Ha..you make me laugh. With a name like Big Stick and using magnum rifles and infantile posts it seems you are over compensating for your insecurity because of your small mind and small penis.
You probably drive a lifted 4WD pickup too.

Clem, Big Stick has a unique way of teaching...the 180g ELD-M are no joke in my 280, 280 AI, and 7 Mag, all sporting 9 Twists. Some things you just have to see to believe, and that .796 BC will have you shaking your head in disbelief. I use R#22 in the 7 mag, 2850 on 26" barrels. IMR 7828 in the 180 AI, and R#17 in the 280.

Impressive to me that the 7RM 180gr/2950fps load is still carrying 2000fps at 850yds. That's quite a performance from a plain old 7RM Rem700.

Actually - Stick's been one of the most vocal proponents of smaller cartridges for hunting because bullets matter more than headstamps.

Way back when I started here - was the first time I heard of 223 for deer. Chunky bastards like he was getting on POW.

For all the heartburn - he does shoot a lot and up and down the spectrum quite a bit. I'd dare say - mostly down the spectrum recently with BRs on the Montucky and the new 180 7mm at speed in the RM but 7-08 and 162 was a mainstay for a long time. People also give him crap about his disdain for Leup when he used to run them a lot too. Guess what - things change, others get better and come along etc. I much prefer someone doing constant R&D - open minded enough to accept better when it comes along instead of "dad shot leupold in 65, so I shoot it today - nothing better" - bullchit.

YMMV

Fortunately for you,Imagination and Pretend are free,so even a Whining Crying Lying Brokedick like you can "afford" to "contribute",even if it is only with your Homoerotic Fantasies. Hint.

Powerhead color matters way more than headstamps. Lol !!

I don't shoot the STW much. 90% of my hunting is with a bow. 10% with a flintlock. Only ever tried 3 loads in it. 120 SMK's just to see how high the chrono would go. Then 140 TTSX. Not much on accuracy. Then 140 AccuBond. Fast as hell and group very well. Good load for playing at the farm on the 600 yard steel. But the only deer I ever shot with the AB had a failure to expand. 275-ish yards. 7mm hole in and out. No blood. Deer fell over 150 yards away, but.....

Obviously I should have tried bullets way heavier. Just never did yet.

Only reason to buy a 7 mag is if you can’t buy a 7mm Mauser ,280/ 280 AI, etc

Michellle,

It's only fair to grant slack on the rope and let Melting Snowflakes try. You are doing "GREAT!". Hint.

I don't care what anyone shoots and as I've said at least 5 times in this thread I have no use for the 7mm RM. If that's what you like have at it. Why jump on anyone for their opinion unless you're really thin skinned.
Shoot your belted 7mm and have a blast. I'm outta here.

45-70 is not a big boy. You just showed me that you're not someone whose opinion or comments have much relevancy.
