Not to be confused by a Cape Buff. This was a Water Buff which is about as docile as a cow... until you shoot it.

Horrifying moment president of Mexico's Hunting Federation is killed by a buffalo after firing a .408 caliber rifle at the one-ton beast in Argentina
Mexican hunter, Mario Canales, was killed by a buffalo during a hunting outing in Entre Ríos, Argentina, last Friday
The 64-year-old avid hunter and another friend were taking aim at the one-ton animal when it charged at them and rammed Canales
The group's tour guide was standing near the men and fired five shots and killed the buffalo
Canales was rushed to a hospital but went into shock and died before arriving
An autopsy revealed that he suffered multiple rib and sternum fractures as well as blows to the abdomen

Terrifying video footage shows an avid Mexican hunter being gored by a buffalo before he died at a hospital during a hunting trip in the central Argentine city of Entre Ríos. Mario Canales, 64, and a friend were kneeling about 100 feet away as they aimed and fired at the one-ton beast in the town of Punta Caballos.

Canales, who was holding a .408 caliber rifle, was unable to bring down the buffalo when it chased him and his friend.

What's a 408? Doesn't look like a Cheytac.

Shooting a water buff is about as challenging as shooting a cow or a bison. The top Mexican "hunter" botched a simple shot then didn't have the technical abilities to kill a mad cow and died as a result. That's want I call Karma or just abject stupidity and incompetence. Take your pick...

People raise and eat cows, bison, and buffaloes. If any of those killed a ranch hand or slaughterhouse worker only a vegetarian would call it "karma."

Was this on a hunting ranch that stocks exotics?

I wasn't very clear. I'm not saying it didn't happen. I just don't believe that the attached video is related to the actual event.
