I seem to have a weakness for left handed mini Mausers. A 7mm TCU wasn't even on the radar until a couple days ago but somebody just had to post one on GB, with a Leupold 6x, dies and 500 rounds of brass. I fell weak and bought it. Shoot, I don't even have my reloading stuff unpacked from the move yet. It must be a sickness, this failure to resist left handed mini Mausers. They sure are fun though.

It may be interesting working with a 7mm TCU in a rifle. I'm thinking 120-130 grain bullets might be deer and antelope medicine at the TCU's modest velocities. I'll post some pics when it arrives.

I'm interested in your cartridge selection. I bought some 6x45 brass and dies. Now all I need is a barrel to screw on.

I too am a left-hand rifle slut. I have not yet hit bottom though. Congratulations on your purchase.

I didn't go looking for a 7mm TCU. But it popped up on GB and the package was too tempting for my weak self to refuse. I have a lefty mini Mauser in 6x45 that I bought to rebarrel. I have a 6x45 in a Ruger mini 14 so it's a bit redundant and I planned on rebarreling it but haven't gotten to that point yet. Its a bit short in the stock, 12 inch LOP, as I think it was made for a youth or small woman.

I'm starting to get a few left handed mini Mausers. 17 Rem, 6x222, 6x45, 25x222 and now the 7mmTCU and an action in the white.

Very nice. I'm interested also in a 25x222Mag.

That would be a good round. I went with the 25/222 because I was always intrigued by Wooters wildcat and it seemed to fit the mini action better.

I wouldn’t mind playing with a 25-45 Sharps in a mini 14 or AR.

I have a 7mm TCU barrel for my T/C Contender. It is a great round. I shoot 120 gr Nosler BTs. It will send a deer spinning.

Can't wait to see the pics. That rifle would be model perfect for by youngest for deer here. Would meet the silly rifle restrictions here. I'd start with the 120gr BT. With the speeds of that round, I'd bet the 120gr Vmax would make short work of a deer.

Never paid a lot of attention to these. I have a bolt gun in 6/45 with a few loads for 95 grain VLD bullets if anyone needs starting points. Joy to shoot. I'll look forward to your 7mm tcu pics.

Well it arrived yesterday. Pretty good looking little rifle. I think. It's the only left handed mini Mauser I've ever run across with the older, high gloss stock finish. I've seen several of the full size, left handed, Charles Daly Mausers with the glossy stocks but this is the first for a left handed mini so stocked. The left handed mini Charles Dalys I've seen the most have been just actions in the white or finished rifles with aftermarket stocks.

It came with dies and 500 rounds of brass. I have some bullets coming, 115 and 130 grain Speers. Haven't been able to find any Nosler 120 B Tips yet.
