A friends Brother in Law won it in a shriners event.
Like a 20 buck ticket for like 2 or 3 draws.
He hunted with a rem 7 .308.
Bought in summer of 98 when I got assigned to Bangor Maine for 3 yrs of recruiting duty.
400 buck brand new in box.

Had a 79 post 64 PF 30- 06 as a teenager growing up in Maine.
Got that one at service merchandise.
Sold it in 1989 to my 1SG when I was stationed at Ft Hood.
450 with the old school redfield 3-9x 40 wideveiw scope on it.
