This rifle is of the HVA series action --(their 98 mauser style) . It is in very good condition other than a very little blue wear and the same on the wood. It has the adjustable trigger and the slide safety. The bore is shiny and it has a hinged trigger guard . This rifle is all original including the butt plate. I am asking $580.00 shipped for this rifle and may entertain fair offers. I can send more pics to your e-mail address / Or text them.
This rifle has to be sent to your dealer from a non-dealer. Unless of course you live in Montana!!
I would prefer offers or most questions to be made via PM followed by an I'll take it.

Thanks for looking,
Ken

That looks like a 1640. Is the HVA the same?

Spence,

Thanks for saving me. As I was looking the pictures over I had visions of a 35 Whelen in my head.

That would be good or Mr Bock’s 9.3x62. But I will leave as is except bed the recoil lug and fit a nice old English style pad myself.

I have a 1640 ‘06 and shoot 150s out of mine. I don’t think the recoil is bad and mine just as the buttplate like this one. Mine shoots factory hornady so well I never bothered reloading for it. Congrats.

I have a 1600 in similar condition, not only a lightweight but a heck of a shooter.

Good grab

The Model 3100 Crown Grade, one great rifle from a time long gone. I'm lucky to have one from my father who bought it in 1964.

I have several husky rifles. I wouldn’t consider selling any of mine for that price. They all shoot really good.
