Would anyone care to share their successful /accurate powder, and even loading data, for 9mm Luger using 147 grain jacketed bullets?
Gun: FNX-9, with 4"+ barrel
Thanks.

I have loaded 147 gr Hornady JHP with 3.6 gr Titegroup for 918 FPS from my Beretta M-92F.

I don't recall the weight off hand but it is the maximum of Longshot as found in the Hodgdon loading magazine or website. It's a smudge over 1000 fps out of my Beretta 92, a smudge under 100 fps from the S&W M&P and Springfield XD. The Beretta CX-4 carbine has them approaching 1200 fps.

Anyone know of any over 1000 fps loads for 147s? I know vv used to list some in the 1100 fps range but I've never taken 147s that fast. I'm looking at some 147g fn molds to cast me up some woods loads. Should be able to get more speed from a cast PC bullet.

Ramshot and AA powders can get you there. I've been loading 6.7gr. of AA# 7 with a 147gr. cast FP in my Browning Hi-Power for years. Function and accuracy are outstanding. My carry loads and handloads are all 147s. The only time I use lighter bullets is for cheap factory blasting ammo. https://ramshot.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/WesternPowdersHandloadingGuide8.0_WEB.pdf
