I have it,it did me no good whatsoever. It made things worse for a couple of months but now I'm back where I started. My ex urologist represented it to me as minimally invasive with minimal aftereffects which was total bullshit, it's serious surgery. I suppose he was comparing to the TURP surgery that I will probably have to get anyway.

A couple of questions.
Does the stint had any impact on sexual function? Any discomfort ?
What is the TURP procedure?

Supposedly no impact on sexual function per the propaganda and can work for a few years with no drugs needed I’m sure individual results vary. I intend to ask my urologist about it he’s a conservative sort that shys away from surgical methods unless needed

I believe TURP is the laser surgery and one of the harshest treatments

Once I recovered from the surgery, which took months, I noticed no sexual effects.

Shifting a gear here on the subject, has anyone had the PAE method done for BPH, prostate cancer, etc.?
This is where the docs insert a wire into the prostate gland and zap the arteries (blood supply) that feed the gland causing it to shrink and also cutting off the blood supply to any existing cancers within the gland.
Anyone?
PAE =‘s Prostate Arterial Embolization

For him it was probably more procedure than he needed in other words they should have tried something less invasive first. His doc used this treatment right out of the gate. He wishes now they had tried a lessor treatment first.
