He was the biggest of 5 bucks I glassed up in an oak thicket. I couldn't get any closer due to terrain, so I made a solid shooting rest out of my pack and jacket. Used my bino case for a rear bag. They ranged at exactly 330 yards and just slightly downhill from me. The littlest buck got up first and prodded the biggest one to stand and spar and that's when I got my opportunity. At the shot, the other four deer jumped up - chit themselves and bounced around in little circles! They had no idea what happened or why their buddy wasn't moving..... Good bases and eye guards - and if you can't tell, I'm pretty pleased with him. For you gun nuts - the rifle is my Kimber Hunter 6.5CM, SWFA 3x9MQ and Sierra 140gr SPBT.

He's a beauty. Odd rack configuration. He's a basic 3x3 main frame with a matching sticker off each G2. Great bases with lots a pearling and good eye guards.

Saw a nice buck today, but he was about 250 yds out, and while getting him in my site, he went up a 45 degree bank into some real thick brush.
Went up that bank just as quick, as I would have been falling OFF of it..
