Sandman S, Griffen Dual Lok 7 and Omega 300 are on my short list so far.
7.62 and QD for versatility.
Be used on an AR in 223 and maybe a 6 ARC.
Possibility of use on a bolt 223 and 7-08 as well for now unless I dedicate it to the AR in 223. And just buy a different suppressor for the bolt actions.
Other suggestions for the AR to start with?

My only above .223 caliber rifle suppressor is a Dead Air Nomad but I’d definitely recommend it. It’s a nice balance of quiet, reasonably lightweight, and durable. A good general purpose “do all” centerfire rife suppressor IMO.

Considering a Ruger American Predator .308 with an 18" threaded barrel specifically for deer/pig hunting where ranges will likely not exceed 200 yards.
This will not be a bench or bipod deal and handiness is a primary goal.
What would be a good choice for a direct screw-on can? Handiness you say?

Thanks for jumping right on this, John, but as I said on October 29, up-thread, I bought a can.
