I have never bought ammo on line.
Just checking to see if anyone here has bought ammo from this outfit?

https://armoryweapons.com/

Wondering if they're legit, they seem to be the only ones that have .410 shells in stock.

How do you plan on paying?

What recourse does that method offer you as a buyer?

Only place with .410 ammo in stock, huh?

Craigster gives you science.

My Spidey sense tingles on their site.
Way too much promotion and testimonials on the first page you
see. You are already there, why all of that?

Their 6.5 Creedmoor ammo is especially special, as it clocks 2700 mph.

Whoa!!! thank you Craigster!!

This is the first review from your link.........

On 6/13/22, Armory Weapons accepted my payment for order ***** in the amount of $231.00 in merchandise and $30.00 shipping, promising to ship on 6/14. On 6/23, I emailed them to inquire why they hadn't delivered yet and was told they required an additional (and previously undisclosed) $102.00 for a "refundable" shipper's insurance fee before the shipment would be released. I asked for additional info on the shipper and got none. I tried to call them on 7/1/22 but the calls failed. Surprisingly (since I hadn't left any message), they called me back so I asked why I hadn't received my order. A man replied that he'd "look into it" and get back to me; then he hung up. That's the last contact I had with them. They don't respond to email and phone calls don't go thru. -- Once I told them to either ship my goods or refund my money, they completely stopped any/ all communication with me. (They claimed they had tried to text me on my land line, but of course that's not possible.) I would prefer to receive my order, but would settle for my $261.00 ($231.00+$30.00) back. Help please.

Using a credit card, no doubt I would be reimbursed if it wasn't legit.
I just hate the thought of dealing with crooks.

There is very little .410 in stock at the 10 or so sites I've been to< I'm trying to find some 3" 6 shot for my grandson not having much luck yet.

Based on the reviews this place is definitely legit.

That is the correct answer. Pay with a credit card.

Bet you dollars to donuts that was not happening at that site.

Edited to add:

The biggest tells that a site is scammy is that they only accept forms of instant payment or bitcoin (none of which offer recourse for buyers), and they have stuff in stock that nobody else does. There are lots of others, including the million and one grammatical errors indicating a non-native English speaker or a Google translation ...

End of the day: Nice dodge. Craigster for the win.

Upthepole had some .410 ammo for sale in the classifieds IIRC last week or 2.

Try him.
