Form 4's went from 90 day's e file to 180 days, think their [bleep] with us

All I keep hearing about is the backlog. Yadda yadda yadda.

certified 4-1-22 received stamp 10-27-22. Still have 2 more in limbo that were certified the same day.

Add more IRS agents since it is a tax stamp, oh wait they did

53 weeks to the day to get a YHM Turbo 2 from Silencershop.

I'm sure you've all heard about this amnesty thing dealing with pistol braces and sbrs and such I'm sure there are paper list is long now everybody wants to get on that registration

Hey Russ. I stopped at a shop by my house that does a bunch of suppressor business. I happened to ask about the status of the efile wait time. The guy told me that the e applications are 8 or 9 months now. The interesting part was that they had gotten an email from ATF stating that they were trying to clean up all the existing paper form 4's by the end of November. They ran a bunch of the efile apps around the first of the year to test it out and now they are trying to clear all the old stuff and then get back to the e stuff. Maybe I'll get my Lane by the end of the year. I bought it coming back from Dons last November. You and Tack will get shuffled to the back of the line for a while.

E-file form 4 from Silencer central sent in March 3, approved Sept. 26.
Two e-filed form 1 SBR's (on a Trust) filed in July and August took 53 and 60 days respectively.

SBR filed September 10th, no word yet. Suppressor filed same day, told to expect at least 6 months.

Filed e-form in June.

Certified or whatever it’s called….

As of June, it was ~110 days.

Maybe I’m getting close.

My luck it’ll be approved end of Jan as deer season ends.

Same thing happened last year. Paper form. Waited just over 12 months. Called me in Feb.

I was told they are pulling folks off the eforms to finish up the old paper forms. I was also told paper forms were being scanned into pdfs and moved to eforms. Who knows....

LGS said there eforms from March are just getting approved.

My last stamp was not an efile and took about 14 months.

I didn't even know E-File had been in service for 14 months. I thought it opened 11 months ago?

Bought Dec 20th 2021, here Oct 22 2022. 10 frigging months and 2 days, on a efile. Of course it was thru the dipwads at Silencer Central, who think it is OK to take 60 days to submit to ATF after being paid, and another 25 days to ship after receiving the e-4473. I will never deal with those asshats, ever again.....

Certified March 26 for my e file still waiting.

Mine took 18 months and it was an e-file also.
