I've thrown an extra mule on the packtrain specifically for packing two coolers full, but only when backcountry fishing in the summer.

I even made an insulated top load cooler that secures to D rings on a Decker just for keeping trail beers cold during the ride in, so that I didn't have to deal with weight issues on one side or the other as I whittled them down.

I've said it before, the only way I shoot big bucks (& I have shot some dandies), is if they happen on me, before any legal buck !

Been fishing a few times the last weeks, done well as usual. Yesterday was normal, brother wanted to go before the cold front and wind hit, left early, on the lake at 7:30 off by 10:30. 20 bass, mix of large and small mouth, kept some eaters and threw the bigger ones back... left my phone in the truck cause I'm getting forgetful, no on lake pictures.

220 savage ready to rock.
1st shot counts.
98 yards was the best we could get on slumlords dads place on the high flat above the flood zone to set up the range 2 days ago.
3 power on the Sightron.
What I keep it on.

Just made the executive decision to forego our MZ opener this weekend due to forecast high temps & rain, it'll be the first one missed since they added the season 25-30 years back.
Gonna make a run to Tenn before temps change.
Good luck out there.
