Fat boys roll, skinny ones slide. One advantage of being fat.

True story from the 80’s

I worked for place that rented mostly heavy construction equipment. During summer when we were busy we used to hire a retired guy “Harvey “ as a shop parts runner. One day Harvey gets drunk at the elks lodge, turns the corner going home without the door latched, falls out and runs over himself. His car lands in the ditch, he gets a trip to the ER and a DWI.

Spent 10 grand on the drive train, but fixing that door was just a bit too steep.

Stop Drop & Roll, lol... Actually i seen this a few weeks back, Still funny as schit... When i was a kid in the 70's a local hotshot street racer usta' buy parts and hang out at my brothers salvage yard... One day he shows up with this gorgeous just repainted 66 vette roadster bright red, flared fenders, Chrome side pipes and Cragers with a hot small block under the hood... The gang was all there so he put on a smoke show when he left... He suddenly lost control and took down a road sign and a light pole at the intersection of US 10 & state Rd 49... Mashed the front end, a door and a 1/4 panel... Nobody laughed, Guy was inconsolable... Brother winched the Vette onto his flatbed and took it back to the same body shop where he had just picked it up... Never seen the guy again... Dated his niece a few yrs later, I asked, What happened to John?... Oh, He was so humiliated he sold the Vette and moved out of town...
