We did - burbon wise Horse Soldier 4 roses single barrel Bullet Wheel horse (Rye) Buffalo trace Bullet Elija Craig Blantons Bitters wise - Angostura Brothers walnut Preychards 4 roses makes a darn smooth old fashioned… Horse soldier has enough heat (spice and bite) to make a damned good one…. Others preferred Bullet & buffalo trace. For sure use Luxardo cherries instead of regular manachinoS Also be darn sure to carmelize orange peel into the drink (squeeze / spray over a flame) And for best results smoke the sucker with Cherry wood. Ordered one and the waiter brought it out in what looked like small lantern. A little smoke box, I was supposed to open the door and get my drink out. It sucked worse than the overpriced beef that eventually followed it. MAGA
