Palmetto State Armory is running a special on their premium FA carrier w/ bolt for $70. Try as I might I can't rationalize buying one, but maybe someone here could use one. Today only, according to the email I just opened.

BCG for $70

That's a nice deal.

If anyone needs a grendel / arc bolt carrier group, SpiceTac has the nitride Toolcraft for a hundred bucks, free ship. About the cheapest decent grendel bcg I can find.

That's a good deal from PSA.

Arm or Ally has the Toolcraft Grendel for $85 https://www.armorally.com/shop/toolcraft-6-5-grendel-bolt-carrier-group/

Their CS and shipping times are top-notch. I received my Faxon Big Gunner 6.5CM two days ahead of ETA...if that matters.

I've bought multiple things from them as well. Agree with your assessment.

Toolcraft BCGs are decent stuff. I have yet to wreck one, my highest round count on a Toolcraft is just north of 10k rounds. Granted, it's on a junk build that isn't run very hard. I loan that particular rifle out

Aero Precision BCGs are the nuts! All the top rated specs on them. Nitride BCGs are $100
Faxon Firearms barrels are the nuts! Installed about 60 of them and they shoot 1/4 MOA
Ballistic Advantage barrels can be the nuts, 90% sub MOA. Gas ports can be off.
Wilson Combat barrels are the nuts. Pricey though.
Aero Precision Nickel Boron 2 stage triggers I can tune to feel like a $250 trigger for $75

Wilson Comabt 5.56 barrels range from around $285 down to $199 right now for SS. (Compared to BA's Premium SS ranging from around $180 - 225)

So if you think that the Wilsons are expensive, what do you think of a $550 Bartlien barrel?

That would mean that Faxon is selling them a little too cheap, compared to, say Bartlien, or Shilen or maybe Douglas, eh?

I kinda doubt that Faxon has made their 1st .25 MOA barrel yet......................more window lickin'
