OR so it appears. Any of you guys have any insight? They've also stopped making 375 Win.. I guess everything going to the modern stuff.

It was always a seasonal run for them for the last 40 years or so (probably).

Depending on how busy they are with other things, they might do it again. Or not. During the great ammo shortages over the last 14 yrs they would go purely to the popular cartridges because it was sold before it hit the floor - 22LR, 223, 9mm, etc.

Their website still shows 300 Savage 150gr SuperX as a listed product.

Hopefully if it's still in their catalog, we are ok. The reason I brought it up, is because Midway sent me an email saying no longer available from the manufacturer. Thankfully not only do I reload, but a have a lot on hand including Remington and Federal including 150s and 180s from Fed.

There are probably more semi-orphaned "seasonal run" cartridges than there are regular production cartridges.

The ammo manufacturers haven't done a very good job, or made much of an effort, to make regular runs of cartridges that they introduced and enticed people to buy, cartridges like the SAUMs, WSMs, and WSSMs. Until very recently, within the past month, there hadn't been any 243 or 30-30 ammo on any dealer shelves in the Omaha metro area that I'd been to. There still isn't any for the old standards like the 30-40 Krag, 303 British, 32 WS, or 35 REM and none for 6.5 thru 8mm metric military cartridges either.

I never cared for the Winchester anyhow. Prefer green and blue box. Have more than I will ever shoot.

Completely agree, the business model seems to be run a huge glut of the old timers when things are slow so they can ignore them to punch out the hot items when demand takes off. I remember 4-5 years ago seeing a huge bunch of 25-35, 250 Savage, 35 Rem, etc hitting shelves/online stores and I doubt they've produced much, if any, since.
