Bingo

Funny to hear him try and explain otherwise though

Good golly how do you survive such conditions! Jeebus. You prolly needed extra tape for your ballistic chart!

I think it depends on how it'd used.

I have to find the right critter before I have a need for a chart.

Coues buck tag, first afternoon after setting that up, walk down that 2 track to the SE. 1/4 down the hill, 8 cow elk cross the road, a couple stopped broadside 80 yards our. They didn't do that 2 seasons before when I had a cow tag.

Next day, 1/4 mile or so the other direction, starting the days hunt. See something moving down some ledges below the rim. Flock of turkeys, they come closer as I stand there. Two jakes come within 13 yards of me. They don't do that when I have a turkey tag.

day or so later, sitting quietly watching, hear something behind me. Coues doe maybe 50 yards behind me, crossing over to the other side. Never saw me.

Moved down to the Sedona side of the unit when I tired of the cold. More does, then last day I get back to the truck, decide to take a look over the little ridge I was parked on. DEER! couple of does and their fawns feeding on some wild roses. Up comes a nice big set of antler. Wonderful mulie buck big enough to just think "shoot, don't count points, just shoot" but of course, I have a Coues tag.

And so goes my hunts.

Fall turkey opens in 12 days, maybe I can find one of them.

And you don't have to worry about the cabin not being built, right?

I'm just curious, did they need the cabin so Uncle Rick could visit?

Yup…Nothing like pounding a beer, standing on a steep canyon with half an elk ass on your back and saying to yourself, this is the most fun I’ve had since last elk season.

I get more enjoyment watching a fox hunt under the snow or a dung beetle rolling a ball or a momma hun trying to round up all them chicks.

Bruh, no doubt! Flatter, rolling prairie grounds. They die easily, and aren’t much weight to deal with.

And they taste great.

Wyoming is calling.
