As you can observe, they seem to think they are the top of the food chain. It may seem inhumane to watch, but he is DRT, just don't know it yet. Sever the spine and they drop and paddle. If they go halfway around I put another round on the underside of the throat. Usually settles their hash. Next one sauntered in about 1.5 hours later nailed him too...... #1 #2 decent tushes! yowsir! I know, I know. But there are a whole bunch of young calves running around and i really didn’t want to orphan any. They are pretty young.
