With tomorrow being one of the most important mid-term elections in resent history, it is also the anniversary of another event I think is note worthy. This song hits me every time I hear it.

I was in the Marines on that date, but was not over there. Heard the news a few days later.
That war sucked, 50k lost due to politics. Really have to honor those who served without question.

Probably one of the greatest ballads ever written.
