Bearcat74 Campfire Tracker B Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 5,932	My Savage has an 18” and a guy on my lease has a 22” barrel Ruger, our velocities are basically identical with 165 and 170 Hornady loads. I prefer the 18” because it’s handier to move around. When I die I hope I don't start voting democrat.
