Well that’s my confusion, how did Georgia end up with so many white liberals?
CA into the 90’s was still conservative, liberals came for jobs and school, topped off with illegal immigration, are most of these Georgian liberals home grown, when did Georgia start voting D?

States don't vote, people do. MS is roughly 60% white/40% black and that's pretty much the breakdown of the vote for statewide elections. You get a few white lefties voting dem and a few blacks who own their own businesses who vote republican, but it's mostly along racial lines. If you break it down into congressional districts you'll see that the 2nd district which is the Delta is majority black and they'll always elect the democrat. Bennie Thompson is the congressman from there and he'll easily be re-elected tonight. He's the clown that's heading the January 6 kangaroo court.

A lot of northern and California liberals have moved to the Atlanta area over the years. They film a lot of "traditional rural and suburb America using the Atlanta area. It is cheaper than anywhere in California, and cheaper than New York. So, a lot of them have moved to Atlanta.

A lot of conservative New Yorkers moved to Florida, especially those that retired. Then a lot of northern liberals have also moved to the big cities of North Carolina. Same with the Nashville, Tennessee area. Blacks are about 1/3 the population of Mississippi and Alabama, as well as Louisiana. However, many do vote Republican. Almost all whites in the deep south vote Republican, except the transplanted liberal Yankees.
