How you you keep your ratchet strap tails from flapping. No matter how I ties them up they get loose and flap in the wind and end up getting frayed. Looking at the retractable ones.

roll up the loose end and tuck it under the strap before you finish cranking it down. Look at any truck with a stapped down load to see how it's done.

Nite Ize Gear Ties Keeps ratchet-straps neat and tidy when not in use as well.

coil them up and pin them under the strap then tighten down.
I use retractable straps but in many situations the strap is not touching anything where you can tuck.the tail

I just wrap the loose around the tight and tie a couple half hitches. Never had a problem yet

Lots of ways to deal with the excess strap after ratcheting down a load, but this is the slickest way, IMO.

I use double sided Velcro to tie up the tag ends, it's quick and works.
