Schools, including Universities (I think) are open on Veteran’s Day but post offices and banks are closed for the most part. Pretty much all of the Executive Branch of the government is closed today. There’s a reason I am sitting here drinking coffee and waiting for my omelette before going to check traps, rather than being at work.

Post offices are closed on Veteran's day. My federal credit unions are as well. Hooters, on the other hand, is open!
