Now that we have weights, who's the buyer? All we needed was weights and we would be buying. For Christs sakes could you just give us weights, if it is 3 ounces lighter I definitely would fickin buy it, but I don't know how much it weighs. I have piles of rifles, I know everything about McMillan's, and Winchester's, but I'm gonna bitch about a weight until you put it out there, then, yeah, I'm not interested. Bsa fick off, I'll keep my rifles

This actually makes me want to buy the 7mm!

Yeah buddy.. Great hunting rifle.

You bet Big B, ole JH above needs this 7 WSM and the 8 boxes of ammunition, order a set of dies and be set for life with 160 sticks of brass.

I agree gunner.
I’d also encourage the OP to weigh the seven wsm without the scope. My suspicion it is significantly lighter than 8.5 pounds. That McMillan should not add weight unless it’s magnum fill. I suspect it’s much closer to 7.5 pounds than 8.5 pounds.

I think you're probably right. Someone is going to kick themselves in the ass for passing on this one. Maybe me?

🤣

Fwiw, I think it’s in the pattern they called simply “model 70.” Hard to tell for sure based on the pics, but that’s my best guess.

I have a m70 classic stainless in a similar configuration but in 300 wsm. That 7mm is a great buy. I’m trying to talk myself out of buying.

Is the 7WSM a CRF, CR-PF or PF action? Apologies, I am not a Winchester expert by any stretch of the imagination and my vague recollection was that Winchester somewhere in the early 2000's.

The 7wsm spent time in TN, and I can verify that it likes RL17 and 120tsx’s
Smooth action and nice trigger too!
