I feel your pain,with multiple 224,243 and 264 Kreed's and a LRP preference. I'm thinking,I've a minimum of (4) of each. Hint................

700, Rock Creek barrel 22.5'', 6.5x47L, 38gr. varget, 123 ELD-M, CCI 200, bug-holes.
3ish years ago I spoke of shooting during 2 full days in as close to windless condition days as I have ever seen. < Rare in coastal areas, shot groups so small I could hardly believe it myself. 20X Zeiss Conquest at the time.

Crow Hunter,

I've shot a few hogs with the 100gr. TTSX,, although in a 260R, M7. Yes it kills like a lightning strike.

6.5L hands-down one of my favorite cartridges, I like it more every time I shoot it.

When my 22-250 barrel is shot-out I've been saying 6x47L but the 6 Creedmoor sure is hard to overlook.

Totally forgot about this post.

My Manners stock modifications got messed up but Manners simply replaced it with one of their new LRH stocks which I can see myself owning more of, it’s a superb stock so far and really fits the hunting/ play rifle role very well.

Anyways the rifle is together and absolutely hammers with 139 Scenars and h4350 into boring 1/4-3/8” groups. I will work up the 130 AR hybrids eventually but for now it’s shooting to well to mess with until hunting season is over.

It will probably get a glass upgrade eventually but the P4xi 4-16 was sitting unused and is doing well so far.

This thread makes me want to look into a x47.
Seems to be a great case design.

No disrespect intended but what’s the “hint” for is that a campfire thing I’m not understanding? Also is it painful to have rifles? I’m confused as to what makes it hurt.

I have a 6.5 and a 6 that have been sitting for some time now, guess it is time to try and get them up and going.

I run two 6.5x47 I run 129 hornady interbond RL-15 39.6 CCI #450 and I get 2970 out of them. Small groups with both rifles. Whitetails and elk are the only big game I have taken. It is my goto rifle. No recoil and just a joy to shoot.

I have a 12ga. I don't need a 30-30.

First load I tried in my Montana with Lilja barrel was 38 grain Varget and 123 Scenar. First 5 was just a hair over 1/2” and around 2850.

Haven’t pushed it any harder yet, but there’s room to speed up for sure.

One of my favorite deer rifles.

Can’t find any target pics, but it’s a hammer.

Really nice cartridge.

I went old skool with a Barnes 120 X and IMR 4064. Shot was closer than anticipated at only 147 yards.

With the shortage of H4350 with the 139 Scenars, I tried AA4350. Results were stellar to say the least, tiny, tiny groups, preference for Rem 7 1/2 primers were evident.

My neighbor loves brass Formed from 22/250 brass with it's large primer giving him sub 1/2" groups at 200 with a Brux 8T. If elect to use 22/250 brass, then watch the carbon ring in the neck, couple of twists of a bronze bristle brush will remove the carbon. Some maybe forced into using 22/250 brass if the war in Europe continues.

I fire formed his 22/250 brass with 14g of Bullseye and cream of wheat, never lost a case.
