Well, hell, I guess that wasn't so hard. I'll probably forget how and have to look up the tutorial again next time I try to post a picture.😀

Cost more to ship the halibut home than it cost for the charter to catch them. We had four between my wife and I. We drove up that trip and still had another month or so before we were going to be home, so had them kept in the freezer in Seward and shipped when we got home. Flying next time and will bring fish home as checked bags. The halibut sure was good though.

I had some fisherman friends that would find a cannery close to the docks and they would pay the cannery to can their fish and then they would just mail it home to themselves.

They did not say what it cost them but they said that they did not need to keep them frozen until they wanted to use them that way.

Having some salmon canned might be worth exploring if there is a cannery near where we will be fishing. I'm going to have to check on that.

My Friends never told me what they paid and they did not tell me what it cost to mail.

This was 20+ years ago.
At least canned it would keep longer and safer rather than Refrigeration and or Freezing.

I could be wrong, but there are likely fake Postimage websites looking to scam us. I ran into the same thing, picked a different route and got around that.
Still don't understand why some guys post full-page size pics, and others (like me) can only post thumbnail or slightly larger.
