This one came in at 3:30 am my last night in Texas....the only varmint all night long. But it was my first and only Kit Fox. Coloration similar to the grey but no black stripe down the tail, a good bit smaller, lankier and bigger ears like a desert fox.

I believe swift foxes are protected here in Wyoming, but I see more than a few around prairie dog towns........

We used to have a ton of Kit foxes here years ago, now it's very rare to even see one. They are pretty neat, congrats.
