Looking to buy a stock for my grand daughter's Ruger .44 carbine. Does not need to be in perfect shape. It will be cut to fit her.

I had Macon Gunstocks make one for me years ago. They pieced together a few of their templates. I ended up with a stock that has a right hand cheekpiece, flat buttstock for installing a recoil pad, and it was cut to my LOP. I highly recommend them but you will have to inlet and finish the blank. I want to say it was in the $150 range. https://www.macongunstocks.com/catalog-pricing-a-m.html

Keystone manufacturing that makes the Cricket rifles talked about reproducing some stocks for the 44 ruger Carbine. The gun smith in the shop I worked at was asking me how well I thought they would sell. I told him to have them make 50 to see what the market would do. Never heard anything else about it. You may put in an inquiry about it. They have the equipment.
A bowhunter at heart but a gun guy at soul. I'll take craftsmanship, wood and blue steel over plastic and composite any day.
