I wont pay over 1500 for a Maiden ticket and i better be in the pit for that. 2nd round of Book of Souls nigjt before the show scalpers wanted 15K.

We were 20 back and off to the side for 350 first tour. Scalpers ran prices up so 2nd time it was credit card only. Paid 150 and the venue layout and sound made that a ripoff.

First show ....id say it was worth maybe 500 per.

Legacy of the Beast tour we had OK seats for 165 per. But my kid is in FC and will camp online to score.

If peoole on floor/ pit would put their fuggin phones down, that woulda been a 1500 ticket show IMHO.

Front row can be brutal depending on venue. 99 was front row, small place, for 35 bucks. Think i got those tix at like 2 ot 4 am.

$800 for a ticket? Wow how much I'd the T shirt. I think my first concert was $14. Metallica and justice for all with Queensryche opening and all those guys could play.

Queensryche is going to be at Ft Hall near Pocatello on Dec 9th and tickets are $29 after 35 years of inflation. Looking forward to being there.

Maybe I'll just ask Nugget to find me a scratched up commemorative limited release CD of hers that someone tossed because they are pissed they can't afford her shows.

Wife and I were discussing this very thing. We figure she would have to pay our transportation cost, lodging costs, and meals. We would have to have seats close to the concessions stand so we could have a snack during the performance. On top of this, about ten grand, each, for pain and suffering. So, all told. about 25,000 should do it. In truth, I wouldn't pay much to see anybody. I've taken my wife to a couple of concerts, on a date, and even enjoyed a couple of them, but they are not a thing I seek out.
BTW, the girl who wore the meat dress (Lady GaGa) actually has a very good voice and real talent. She doesn't need the gimmicks and should avoid them. Her duets with Tony Bennet were pretty easy to listen to. Nonetheless, I wouldn't pay to see her either.
There are some rifle matches I'll spend a bit to attend, and I'll part with some money for fishing trips or similar vacations, but concerts just are not high on my list of ways to spend my time or money.. GD
