Sesame. The locals call it benne and claim it's different from regular sesame. The wildlife techs who planted it revealed it's just regular old sesame - the same as on a sandwich bun. If there'd been a dime or something else in the photo to judge by relative size, it might have been much easier to guess. Not complaining, just sayin.
