Last day for general season doe's, I shot a nice one at 4:45 after crawling through a schitt-filled drainage ditch for 75 yards to get close enough to pick one from a small herd in the middle of a cow pasture. Went to the processor and was told to come back Tuesday because their freezer was full! The nice lady suggested I quarter it, but I've never done that before and I don't have a place/tools/equipment to pull that off. So, I'm hoping it will make it without spoilage by keeping it in the carport. I'll start putting bags of ice in the cavity tomorrow morning.

15 minutes watching YouTube and a 4-5 inch knife will have your deer fitting in a cooler or two. No other equipment required. Not sure how cool it is there but I’d not hang it till Tuesday if temps are above 42 or so. Or call a friend or two and you buy the beer. Probably get lots of help that way. Congratulations on the hunt.

Google the gutless method, it will take you where you need to go. Very simple only need a knife.
