The next summer, 1970, we had our second Atlanta Pop Festival, I saw Jimi Hendrix play The Star Spangled Banner at midnight on the Fourth of July.
It is all a little hazy, I think I was in an altered state.

4 or 5 years later I saw the Band, Almond Brothers Band and the Greatful Dead at Watkins Glen. Great show.

I missed it, but didn't miss the little dinks that were shooting at me. That said, miniguns, M60s and HE makes for a loud and colorful concert in its own right.
