It doesn't take long, one day they're knee high to a grasshopper, you blink an eye and they're looking at you, eye level, 6 feet tall, and then some.
And you wonder, "did they have as much fun as I did"?

Thanks for your reply JG.

Question for you: Is there anything in Africa that your 7mmRem Mag cannot kill in Africa?

Cheers ~

Well, I've killed near 60 animals in Africa, but never eland or bigger. I know it's plenty enough for all of the others, especially with that 160 AB. I'm sure other stout bullets would work as well. I wouldn't be scared to shoot an eland with it though.

I do believe that it would hammer and put down a properly shot Eland, NO PROBLEM.

I built this rifle for Africa, people said it wasn't enough rifle it is a .300 Win Mag. I do believe that are misguided and they either think too much, or do not know how to shoot! Which is why I asked my initial question.

Thank you for your insight JG.

Nice rifle Killer. I hunted with Kowas Safaris in Namibia 5 times. They run a first rate outift. One of their loaner camp guns is a Remington 700 300Win Mag. It will kick ass in Africa, no sweat.

Ice fishing this morning... didn't catch squat, but it's the first time I've been able to go in November since I've been living down here.

Thanks JG, I shoot Nosler Trophy Grade ABLRs in 180 gr, out of it. I replaced the factory barrel with a Wilson Match Grade Contour #3 and have it shooting Sub MOA <.25 at 100 yards.

Maybe you can give me advise on who I can book with?

Cheers ~
