We had tomato fights at the end of the season. The perfect tomato was a little rotten, but not so rotten you couldn't throw it. The perfect hit was on the side of the head when the target was engaged with somebody else.

March 19th, 1983? I don't recall that event. Probably because my son had just turned 3 days old and we were pretty busy and preoccupied.

They sure were. We lived near a golf course, it was bordered by woods. We'd set up in the woods and lob 'em (with report) up on the green when golfers were putting, then haul ass.

I'm so old I remember when SNL was funny.
