Congrats, Old School Cool. I remember several people over at Rimfire Central being favorably impressed with the accuracy of these. I believe they also made a 5 shot magazine for them.

Nice find. Successor to the BRNO #2, right? I have one of those.

I have 2 of them both in sporter versions. One is a 22RF and the other is 17HMR.

The 452 is / was in demand up here because they shoot so well.

They both shoot very tiny groups.

Supposed to be a clone of the BRNO e2, IIRC.

I had a 452 about 25 years ago. I got a hair on my ass for the new flavor of the month and let it go. I was sorry when I did that. I recently picked a 455 Varmint. I haven't got it to the range yet, but I bet it will be as accurate as my old 452.

Experience with 452’s and 455’s. Both very impressive fit and finish and accuracy. Have no experience yet with a 457 but confidence is high on their performance. While I enjoy the older models the high bolt throw and Determining options for scope mounting have been challenging.

That’s a great looking rifle. Doubt it will disappoint.

Right after CZ disco-ed the 455, I got the hankering for a .22WMR barrel for one of my 455s. I knew it wouldn't "match" the finish on the 455, but I ordered a 457 WMR barrel for it anyway. It plugged right in and shoots extremely well. I have a couple of 452s along with the 455s, and I'm sure that a 457 will be fine in the accuracy department, especially if the WMR barrel I have is any indication. I like CZ rimfires a LOT.

I have a CZ 452 Trainer I traded my son my Winchester 320 (it was the forerunner of the Oregon Kimber 82; uses the same mags). I never could afford the Kimber and I got a smoking deal on it in a pawn shop. My son is of slender build and the CZ was too heavy. Plus he had used the Win 320 growing up and loved it. He had traded a Deluxe Ruger 10/22 that I had given him for the CZ even at Mack’s in Stuttgart AR. Be aware that you may need to invest in a .17 caliber rod and brushes for it as a .22 caliber would not fit my bore. Superb accuracy with ammo it likes. Takes a while to find rings that allow bolt clearance. Lots of info on the CZ rim fire forum. Hardware store springs can lighten trigger pull. It compares to the Winchester 52D I used in ARNG 3 position rimfire competition in accuracy. My son was a pastor and hunted with a church member who killed over 450 squirrels annually for their game supper. The preferred rifles were custom Rugger 10/22s and CZ 452s and later CZs They hunted National forests around West Helena with registered mountain curs.
