Just pondering. Dad used to hunt Canada, hasn't for awhile.

He got the shot when it first cam out, no boosters.

I've never had any.


Hypothetically, if we wanted to go North.

Or just wanted to be considered properly vaxxed in general, how many shots would a person need?

Jump in on whatever is current?
Initial vaxx and every booster ever?

I believe you don’t need to be vaxed to go to Canada anymore.

But, Mom had breast cancer surgery early this year.
Found out last week that when they marked what needed removed,
they screwed up. The surgery she had did nothing but hurt.
The cancer went 7 months uuntreated.

I'm not vaccinated and have been to Canada twice since they relaxed their COVID vaccine requirements. Once under one of the exemptions they put in place earlier this year and once in mid-October after they removed all of the vax requirements. For the October trip customs didn't ask anything about it.

The question was,

If an unvaxxed person suddenly wanted to meet the "standard" would the original vaxx do it. Would the latest booster? Both? Or would you need every jab offered along the way.

Hell this is good news to me! Kinda wanted to go to the Larry The Cable Guy show at the Casino at Niagra Falls (on the Canadah side) in January but decided not to even look into it because of not having the Vax. Just might go now.

To meet the CDC's definition of Fully Vaccinated, two shots of one of the MRNA jabs or one shot of the J&J + 14 days elapsed since the last dose.

For international travelers Canada required the same. At some point, like the CDC they stopped calling that "Fully Vaccinated" but this was a marketing campaign for Pfizer et al to get people to take more doses.

I think Australia requires 5 jabs, at least.

I canceled a NF moose hunt because I refused the jab.

Wasn’t it last year that many of the “stars” were telling their family and friends they were only allowed in their houses for the holidays if they were vaxxed. Haven’t seen that this year but I’m sure there are still some that feel that way. I kind of feel the opposite, especially for those who still think they need the boosters and get them. If you’re that stupid, I don’t want you in my house.

Driving to Alaska requires driving through Canada. Canada is pretty much like US the majority of the POS live in the east or west the middle is mostly normal. My mother in-law has been jabbed 5 times now for the China flu B's.
